We create and curate celebrated series and films across distinct brands and make them available to audiences everywhere. Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, Independent Film Company, Sundance TV and We TV; and film distribution labels Independent Film Company and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business. We are currently seeking a Manager - Gaming & E-Commerce to join our Franchise & Strategic Partnerships team based in our New York, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Partnership management: Coordinate with third-party game publishers and e-commerce platforms to build a comprehensive customer communication plan in support of AMC's portfolio of IP. This will include providing brand feedback on all materials & messaging to ensure consistency across AMC IPs.
  • Gaming Community Management: Provide strategic leadership and community building for AMC's self-published games titles, including the management of all AMC Games social media handles and Discord servers.
  • Digital marketing: Partner with marketing team to drive e-commerce growth thru all digital marketing channels, including paid media (PPC), search engine optimization (SEO), social media, and email marketing.
  • Brand Management: Provide timely and detailed feedback on asset submissions from third party licensees, ensuring tonal and brand consistency across all licensed games and products. Provide third-party licensees with approved brand materials and guidance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with marketing, PR, CRM, partner management, and third-party teams to ensure cohesive strategy and execution. Advocate for digital best practices and innovation throughout the organization.
  • User Experience Optimization: Partner with internal team to develop concise messaging across all consumer touchpoints, including DTC storefronts, third-party e-commerce platforms (eg, Amazon), and AMC apps and websites.
  • Analytics and reporting: Utilize web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to A/B test campaigns and design, track performance metrics, analyzing engagement, conversion, and clickthrough to generate actionable insights. Regularly report on campaign effectiveness to key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in games marketing and/or e-commerce or digital retail.
  • Expertise in major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok Discord) and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Klaviyo).
  • Excellent writing skills, particularly tailored for digital audiences, and ability to engage with users on digital platforms.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with strong skills in engagement analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the games, entertainment, and/or consumer products industry is a plus.
