About the position

The Manager Agile Delivery, Technology and Integration Delivery will lead Agile execution and delivery practices across JetBlue’s IT organization, ensuring that technology initiatives are delivered efficiently, transparently, and in alignment with business goals. This role manages a team of Scrum Masters and is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and evolving JetBlue’s Agile and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Scrum Masters supporting multiple Agile teams across IT.
  • Foster a culture of servant leadership, empowerment, and accountability.
  • Coach teams and leaders to embrace Agile principles and continuously improve their ways of working.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Program Managers, and Technical Leads to align delivery priorities with business and customer value.
  • Enable teams to focus on achieving desired business and customer outcomes — not just delivering outputs or features — by connecting team objectives to measurable results.
  • Define, implement, and evolve JetBlue’s Agile delivery standards, frameworks, and practices across IT.
  • Ensure consistent use of Agile ceremonies, artifacts, and roles across delivery teams.
  • Adapt Agile methodologies as needed to fit JetBlue’s environment while maintaining alignment with the organization’s broader technology strategy.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to drive delivery efficiency and predictability.
  • Promote a mindset of outcome-driven delivery, where success is measured by value delivered to customers and stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain JetBlue’s SDLC framework to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across all technology initiatives.
  • Integrate Agile principles within the SDLC to balance flexibility with governance and control.
  • Establish and monitor key Agile and SDLC delivery metrics (velocity, throughput, quality, cycle time, etc.) to assess team performance and project health.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify improvement areas and communicate delivery status to IT and business leadership.
  • Promote transparency and accountability through dashboards, retrospectives, and regular performance reviews.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships across IT, Product, and Business functions to ensure alignment on priorities and value delivery.
  • Facilitate cross-team coordination, dependency management, and release planning for complex, multi-team initiatives.
  • Act as a change agent for Agile and SDLC maturity, promoting collaboration, adaptability, and continuous learning across the organization.
  • Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support their engagement, growth, and goal achievement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technology field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Agile delivery or program management, including at least three (3) years in a leadership role managing Scrum Masters or Agile teams or other relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of both Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Proven experience implementing or managing SDLC processes within a large IT organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Agile metrics and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Confluence, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading Agile transformations or delivery process improvement initiatives.
  • Available for overnight travel (10%).
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the commercial aviation industries with exposure to supporting IT systems and technologies.
  • Seven (7)+ years of experience in Agile delivery or program management.
  • Five (5)+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Working knowledge of industry standards in project management and development methodologies (Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF), SEI, Agile Methods, Rational Unified Process (RUP), etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal and demonstrated facilitation skills including the ability to motivate and influence others, and able to foster and contribute to a positive, upbeat team environment.
  • Strong customer service ethic and an understanding of how IT ultimately delivers to the customer.
  • High tolerance for working in a dynamic and shifting environment and able to readily embrace and participate in change initiatives.
  • Knowledge of technology fundamentals and concepts including Microsoft technologies.
  • Ability to work well with others and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
