Job Summary

SysTechCare Support is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Library Assistant (Part-Time) to support our growing educational initiatives in Delhi NCR. This role is ideal for college students looking to gain professional experience while pursuing their studies. You will play a key part in managing library resources, supporting visitors, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in organizing and shelving books, journals, and digital media.

  • Help students and staff locate educational materials and use library systems.

  • Maintain cleanliness and order within the reading and study areas.

  • Issue, renew, and return books through the digital library system.

  • Update and maintain inventory records.

  • Support library events, displays, and reading programs.

  • Monitor usage of library computers and Wi-Fi.

  • Provide basic tech support for users accessing e-books or online resources.

  • Report any damages or missing items to the supervisor.

  • Ensure library policies and rules are followed by all visitors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Current college student (any stream) or recent graduate.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Basic knowledge of computer applications (MS Word, Excel, internet browsing).

  • Good communication skills in English and/or Hindi.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team.

Experience

  • No prior experience required.

Working Hours

  • Part-Time: 3 to 4 hours per day

  • Shifts Available: Morning / Afternoon / Evening (Flexible based on student schedule)

  • Knowledge of Dewey Decimal or other cataloguing systems (preferred but not mandatory)

  • Comfortable using digital tools for data entry and online library platforms.

  • Punctuality and a high sense of responsibility.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage resources responsibly.
