Description Qualifications • Ability to communicate clearly and articulate technical information effectively in person, via email, and over the phone. • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in tasks. • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, and practices. • Familiarity with operating systems, networking concepts, and security protocols. • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as well as part of a cybersecurity team. Job Responsibilities • Monitor security alerts and logs to detect potential security threats and vulnerabilities. • Assist in the investigation of security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents. • Use SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools to collect and analyze logs from various sources. • Create and maintain documentation related to security incidents and investigations. • Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and regular security audits. • Participate in security awareness training and promote cybersecurity best practices within the organization. • Use ticketing systems to log and track security incidents and their resolution. • Other duties as assigned, including participating in after-hours on-call rotations for emergency response. Requirements Requirements • Applicants must reside in Florida or Georgia. • This is a remote role and requires access to a stable and reliable internet connection. • Must be able to operate computer and network equipment for extended periods of time. • Ability to sit for long periods and maintain focus during continuous monitoring activities. • Flexible to work shifts, after hours, and weekends as needed for 24/7 SOC operations.
