Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and translating clinical documentation into standardized codes used for billing, compliance, and data management. Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze medical records to assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
  • Ensure accurate coding in compliance with client requirements, federal regulations, and industry standards.
  • Validate codes based on physician documentation and clinical details.
  • Collaborate with auditors, team leads, and physicians to clarify documentation discrepancies.
  • Maintain accuracy and productivity benchmarks as defined by project standards.
  • Stay updated on current coding guidelines, payer policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in internal audits and training programs to continually enhance coding accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • Good understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Basic knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems (training will be provided for eligible candidates).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and basic computer applications.

Experience

  • Freshers and entry-level candidates with relevant academic backgrounds are welcome to apply.
  • Prior internship or certification in medical coding (e.g., AAPC or AHIMA) will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

  • Flexible work-from-home schedule based on project requirements.
  • Standard shifts aligned with US healthcare operations (night or rotational shifts).
