In addition, over 2.5* million lives impacted through our 582 COVID Relief Projects* across 17 states in India.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>Job Description:</strong></span></p> <p><strong>Teaching</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct high-quality workshops and courses for teachers in Mathematics with progressive pedagogical and adult learning methodologies.</li> <li>Prepare capacity building program plans in MATHEMATICS and provide inputs for the preparation of the academic calendar for Shikshaantar and ITEI.</li> <li>Coordinate with other subject teams for planning and executing the MATHEMATICS programs.</li> <li>Analyse the feedback on the training programs received from the teachers and other training participants and incorporate it in subsequent trainings.</li> <li>Provide direction for the MATHEMATICS program in alignment with the current educational policies and guidelines e.g.; NEP 2020, NCFTE 2009 etc.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Content Development</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop a detailed program framework, teaching plan, and workshop modules for effective implementation on the basis of a background study of relevant national and international reference material.</li> <li>Develop program materials for short-term as well as for intensive courses.</li> <li>Strengthen the Resource Centre and develop subject-specific resource material including teacher manuals, interactive models, TLM, reference material, assessment tools, etc.</li> <li>Regularly update the developed resources on the basis of the conducted action research/ primary or secondary research or other academic reading and writing.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Research and Development</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop research-based specialized content and instructions to achieve the workshop goals and objectives.</li> <li>Regularly conduct training need assessment TNA, baseline and end-line assessments for checking the effectiveness of the program.</li> <li>Conceptualise, design and conduct research/s on regular basis. Explore the latest methodologies, resources, and approaches in the field of education and the expertise area to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the program modules and other resources.</li> <li>Conceptualise and produce academic writings in the subject domain.</li> </ul> <p><strong>School Visits and Direct Intervention in Schools</strong></p> <ul> <li>Regularly observe classroom sessions at various schools to understand the impact of the programs and.</li> <li>Plan and provide on-site support to selected teachers in schools in the respective subject.</li> <li>Intensive engagement with a cohort of teachers for understanding the factors required for effective change in teaching practices.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Documentation and Reporting</strong></p> <ul> <li>Document and report the progress on the allocated tasks.</li> <li>Prepare and submit training reports, classroom observation reports, events, and other reports.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>Other Activities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with teachers, team members, and other TMF members to perform the assigned tasks effectively.</li> <li>Contribute to the development and publication of Annual Report, Newsletter, and other publications.</li> <li>Knowledge of Indian Sign Language, braille will be added advantage.</li> <li>Plan, coordinate and participate in events organized by Shikshaantar team.</li> <li>Participate in staff development activities and workshops which academically relevant for the subject team.</li> <li>Any other task assigned by the Program Director, Shikshaantar.</li> </ul> <p><strong>How to apply:</strong> Eligible Candidates please share your updated profiles at <a href="mailto:careers@techmahindrafoundation.org">careers@techmahindrafoundation.org</a></p>
