About the Role:

Twitch's Enterprise Systems Engineering team is looking for an experienced Jira/Confluence Atlassian administrator to support application level configurations and management of data for its on-premise installation of these Atlassian products. As an Atlassian administrator reporting to the Sr. Manager, Systems Engineering you will support end-users of the Atlassian systems to ensure optimal functionality of our systems.

You Will:

  • Administer and support Atlassian Jira and Confluence platforms, including user management, permission schemes, workflows, and configurations.
  • Provide technical support to end-users through Jira Service Desk, resolving issues and answering inquiries.
  • Develop custom solutions and integrations utilizing REST APIs to extend the functionality of Jira and Confluence and meet our requirements.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot performance issues to ensure optimal uptime and responsiveness.
  • Document processes, procedures, and configurations related to Jira and Confluence administration and support.
  • Analyze, review and document application usage to perform data cleanup and archival
  • Work directly with multiple teams to understand needs and provide recommendations in workflows and configurations

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with deep hands-on expertise with the Atlassian product suite (Jira, Confluence), supporting 3rd party add-ons (Proforma, Structure, etc.) and integrations
  • 3+ years writing JQL queries and Jira Dashboards
  • 3+ years creating Jira workflows and schemes
  • 2+ years experience working with Atlassian Jira Service Management
  • 2+ years experience writing Groovy scripts for ScriptRunner For Jira
  • Strong customer Support/Help Desk Experience
  • Experience with Atlassian Datacenter to Cloud migrations
  • Experience in performance tuning of Java applications like Jira and Confluence

Contract Length: 9 months (per length of service policy)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
