Job Description : 

Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is building the future in our Imaging Institute by adding several services and locations to the network. The Imaging Institute’s Division of Neuroradiology is recruiting part-time and full-time neuroradiologists for onsite/hybrid and remote positions.  

Job Duties:

  • Provide a full range of diagnostic neuroradiology services to AHN facilities including a Level 1 trauma center, level 2 trauma center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Primary Stroke Centers, and a variety of cancer centers.
  • Equipment includes state-of-the art imaging technologies, including recently installed 3T MRIs throughout AHN and a photon-counting CT at our flagship hospital, Allegheny General Hospital.
  • AHN utilizes a range of RAPID products for acute stroke imaging. Icometrix was recently employed for imaging of dementia, epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis imaging.
  • 24/7 MRIs at two hospitals enable therapeutic decision-making for “wake up” strokes.
  • Functional MRI at Allegheny General Hospital
  • Participate fully in a division which supplies services to 14 hospitals and multiple imaging centers.
  • Involvement in clinical and didactic teaching to the residents and medical students is desired.
  • Active participation in multidisciplinary conferences.

Compensation Overview

  • Salary Range: $420,000-$1,100,000
  • Competitive base salary with additional compensation for weekend call, value-based care and academic productivity, onsite coverage, and clinical productivity
  • Reasonable wRVU requirements with opportunity for incentive over target
    • RVU expectation (based on years of experience): 10,870-13,165
  • Signing and starting bonus eligibility

Job Qualifications:

  • Certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology and Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Neuroradiology
  • Successful completion of fellowship training in neuroradiology
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Radiology  
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) 
  • Participation in Maintenance of Certification or eligibility for such is required.
  • Actively participate in the training program in terms of clinical and didactic teaching to the residents and medical students.
  • Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
