Role : Hostel Warden (Ex-Army Officer)

Experience : 5+ years

Location: Noida Sector-58

Notice Period : Immediate/15 Days

Job Description:

The Warden will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning like Attendance of the Students, discipline, and welfare of students residing in the hostel. This is a residential, round-the-clock role that requires a dedicated professional to oversee hostel administration, safety, security, and student support.
Key Responsibilities:
Hostel Administration & Management
Oversee day-to-day hostel operations, including room allocation, cleanliness, and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with hostel rules, regulations, and university policies.
Maintain records of hostel occupancy, inventory, and student-related matters.

Student Welfare & Discipline
Act as the first point of contact for students for personal or academic support.
Counsel and guide students to maintain harmony and discipline in the hostel.
Handle grievances and conflicts among students in a fair and timely manner.

Safety & Security
Monitor entry/exit of students and visitors to ensure security protocols are followed.
Coordinate with security staff for round-the-clock safety.
Ensure emergency preparedness and handle crisis situations promptly.

Coordination & Reporting
Liaise with the Institute administration, mess in-charge, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
Conduct regular inspections of hostel premises and report issues to higher authorities.
Submit periodic reports on hostel functioning and student welfare.

Other Responsibilities
Organize hostel activities/events for student engagement and personality development.
Enforce discipline regarding curfew timings, visitors, and conduct inside hostel premises.
Be available 24/7 for any emergencies.

Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate/Postgraduate degree (preferably Ex-Army, Police Retired Professionals).
Prior experience as a Warden/Hostel Superintendent in an educational institution preferred.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to handle young adults with patience, empathy, and firmness.
Good communication skills (English & Hindi).
Proficiency in MS Office and report writing.

Work Environment:
Residential Position: The Warden is required to stay on campus in the allocated accommodation.
Available 24 hours a day to manage hostel affairs and emergencies.
