About Us Zuricare is a healthcare staffing service specializing in providing high-quality, reliable nursing professionals to healthcare facilities and other employers that require a nursing workforce. Position Overview We are seeking a seasoned Healthcare Industry Consultant with extensive experience and a strong national network of senior healthcare executives (e.g., Chief Nursing Officers, Chief Operating Officers, HR Directors, VPs of Clinical Operations) to support the expansion of Zuricare’s footprint in key markets, with an initial focus on New York City and its suburbs (including Long Island), but with a view to expanding into other national markets. This is a high-impact, results-driven role ideal for a well-connected healthcare professional who can confidently open doors to decision-makers and influencers at hospitals, health systems and other employers of caregivers. Compensation Structure • Hourly Rate. $100/hour for telephonic or in-person consultation. • Profit Share. Consultant will receive additional compensation in the form of a percentage of the net profit received by Zuricare under each staffing agreement with a qualified healthcare facility that results from the consultant’s introduction and support through to closing. Key Responsibilities • Leverage your industry experience and network to introduce our healthcare staffing service to senior leaders of healthcare facilities who are in a position to authorize entry into staffing agreements with Zuricare. • Facilitate initial conversations, meetings or referrals that lead to staffing agreements with a range of well-managed healthcare facilities with the financial capacity to hire Zuricare’s caregivers. • Provide consultation on business development strategies, client needs and industry trends. • Advise on proposals designed to communicate our service offerings to prospective clients. • Collaborate with our internal team to ensure alignment between client needs and our staffing capabilities. • Serve as a strategic advisor on relationship development, management and service positioning. • Other action items as may be requested. Qualifications • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably (but not necessarily) in a business- or healthcare/medically-related field. • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the healthcare industry, preferably with Manager- or Director-level business development experience in connection with healthcare staffing services or healthcare facilities (e.g., hospitals, hospital systems, licensed home care services agencies (LHCSAs) and/or nursing and rehabilitation centers). • A robust, demonstrable network of senior leaders in hospitals, health systems and other healthcare organizations in New York City, its suburbs and other national markets. • Proven ability to influence and establish trust with decision-making healthcare executives. • Deep understanding of healthcare facilities’ staffing needs, healthcare operations and vendor contracting processes. • Familiarity with customer relationship platforms helpful. • Experience developing and executing strategic marketing plans helpful. • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. • Self-driven, professional and able to work independently. Preferred Background • Former or current healthcare executives, consultants or business development professionals in the healthcare staffing space. • Individuals with prior experience at healthcare staffing agencies or consulting firms. • Professionals with a background in hospital administration, nursing leadership or clinical management.
