Position Summary/Job Duties:

Our daughter, Hailey, is a happy, energetic and fun-loving "young soul" who deals with autism-spectrum social skills challenges and anxiety/emotional-overwhelm seizures.  These conditions make peer-based social interactions hard and keep her from being unable to drive, so we are looking for a college-aged female (to best match her current age/interests) to help out a few hours a week to go out & have fun with, options being Tues. late afternoon/evenings, every other Fri. late afternoon/evenings and/or every other Sat. afternoon.  Applicants would need to have transportation (we live on the west side of Madison) and be open to supporting Hailey during times of crisis (note: we have protocol in place for her seizures, they do not need medical attention.) Pay goes through her IRIS funding which is a set $15.75/hour but we pay for any meals, outings & a monthly gas card so the fun would be at no expense to you. :)

Pls feel free to reach out if interested and/or have any questions!

Qualifications:

This position would be a great fit for a female currently pursuing Autism and/or Mental Health studies; must have a car (to be able to attend activities)

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?
