Role Description

This is a contract Freelance Video Animator role which is an onsite role located in Chicago, IL. As a Freelance Video Animator, you will work closely with the creative team and be responsible for creating animations for customers, partners, and employees. You will work on projects that include explainer videos, social media content, brand storytelling, and more. Daily tasks include creating and editing video content for different projects and clients, brainstorming ideas for new animations, and collaborating with other members of the team to ensure each project meets its corresponding objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other video editing software
  • Experience in motion graphics design and 2D animation from conceptualization to completion
  • Experience in creating audio treatment, handling sound design, and integrating audio to animation will be considered a plus
  • Strong design and typography skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fine Arts, Graphic Design or a related field
  • Previous experience in corporate, video production or advertising agencies will be considered a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
