Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking candidates for a 1st Shift - Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate position for a Local Warehouse. This position will pay $17.00 per hour, and the hours are Saturday-Wednesday from 8:00AM - 5:00PM. 

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a stand up and sitdown forklift safely 
  • Load, unload, pick and put away materials
  • Perform Pre-shipment and post-receipt inspection
  • Apply labels to pallets and products accurately
  • Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies
  • Maintain clean environment
  • Perform bolt torque checks on battery units
  • Assist with general warehouse and material handling tasks
  • Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

  • Has High School Diploma or GED
  • Able to work overtime, weekends or flexible hours as required
  • Must have previous stand up and sit down forklift experience
  • Must pay great attention to detail and follow safety procedures to manipulate load with other drivers present
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Capable of working in a non temperature-controlled environment
  • Capable of physical movements such as reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting 
  • Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE
