Job Description:

Role Summary/Purpose:

This field sales position is responsible for building relationships with the Walgreens Regional Vice Presidents, District Managers and Store Managers in the assigned territory.  It will be essential to gain support of the credit program by selling the benefits of our products to meet/exceed credit goals.  This position will also partner closely with the SYF Regional Manager to engage and build credit strategies with the Walgreens Regional Vice President to execute within his/her Region down to store level.  This position requires, effective and timely communication, gaining commitment to attend and participate in RVP/DM meetings, in addition to visiting stores with Walgreens field leadership.  This position will require both virtual and in-person support.

Position based from a home office in the GA/N. Florida territory and requires significant travel via company car.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Drive credit applications and sales to meet/exceed goals.

  • Develop and maintain key client relationships with Region, District and Store level.

  • Communicate credit performance, business updates and share best practices during Regional and District calls and meetings.

  • Adhere to client guidelines for field interactions with field leadership.

  • Develop credit strategies with RVP’s that align with client internal processes and priorities.

  • Audit credit signs and point of sale credit materials and communicate issues outside of compliance policies.

  • Conduct on-going credit training.

  • Maximize/leverage credit support and commitment at RVP/District/Store level to drive performance.

  • Collaborate with internal functional leaders.

  • Attend/support store opening, relocation events or off-site meetings as requested.

  • Perform other duties and or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience working in the Financial Services Field or Retail Store Management. Or in lieu of completed degree, HS diploma/GED and 5+ years' experience working in the Financial Services Field or Retail Store Management.

  • Minimum of 3 years of field or outside sales experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years Client Relationship Management experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ Experience developing presentations and pitching to all levels of management.

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Willing to travel up to 75% of the time.

The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

                    

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
