Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! As an Experienced Server, you will be the heart of the guest experience, delivering exceptional service with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your culinary knowledge, food industry expertise, and passion for hospitality will ensure every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
  • Manage cash handling, billing, and cashiering duties accurately using POS systems like OpenTable
  • Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Build strong guest relations through excellent communication, hospitality skills, and attentive service

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a server in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant environment
  • Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing exceptional customer service
  • Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus to better understand food preparation and presentation
  • Previous host/hostess or food service experience is beneficial for guest relations roles
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
  • Knowledge of the food industry standards for serving, sanitation, and guest services
