About the Data Entry Associate Position The Data Entry Associate role at arenaflex is a critical position that involves gathering, preparing, and entering alphabetic and numeric data from various source documents into our computer system for storage, processing, and data management purposes. As a Data Entry Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of our data. This is a full-time position that offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 9am to 6pm PST, providing you with a stable and predictable work environment. Key Responsibilities Gather, organize, and prepare source documents for data entry into the appropriate system database, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. Review data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information, and resolve discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution. Enter both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database with high accuracy and efficiency. Review data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correct any data entry errors or duplications, maintaining the integrity of our database. Follow data program security practices and procedures at all times, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring the confidentiality of all personal and financial information. Routinely secure information by completing database backups daily, protecting our data from loss or corruption. Perform other varied clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required, supporting the administrative functions of our team. Maintain confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times, upholding the trust and privacy of our clients and stakeholders. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that align with the responsibilities and expectations of the Data Entry Associate position. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required, providing a foundation in basic skills and knowledge. A minimum of 6 months related experience in data entry or a similar field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience, demonstrating your ability to learn and adapt quickly. Experience in a medical office is preferred but not required, although familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA regulations is an asset. MUST be tech-savvy and detail-oriented, with excellent keyboarding skills and proficiency in arenaflex Office applications, particularly Excel. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with data entry software and systems, including database management and data analysis tools. Strong understanding of data security and confidentiality principles, with the ability to maintain the integrity of sensitive information.
