We're committed to delivering exceptional customer service, and we're seeking talented individuals like you to join our team. **What You'll Be Doing** As a Customer Support Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Answering inbound calls from individuals seeking assistance with public benefit programs * Interacting with customers in a professional, empathetic, and compassionate manner * Providing information in accordance with established policies, procedures, and privacy laws * Assisting customers with program enrollment and navigating the application process * Routing customers to the appropriate contacts via three-way calls to ensure a smooth call transfer * Assisting customers with their communication needs, including relay services for callers with speech or hearing impairments and translation services for callers who don't speak English * Placing outbound calls as needed to share time-sensitive information with customers * Using multiple computer systems to access data and document information **About You** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * At least one year of customer service experience, preferably in a health or human services setting * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Great active listening skills * Strong attention to detail * Strong PC skills, including the ability to quickly learn new computer applications * A positive attitude * Empathy, patience, and professionalism * Strong multitasking skills and the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment * The ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable programs, policies, and procedures * Good problem-solving and de-escalation skills * The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information **Your Home Office Environment** To be a successful Customer Support Representative, you'll need: * A computer meeting the following criteria: + Operating System: Windows 10 or 11 + Memory: 8GB of RAM + CPUs (Speed * Processors): 6 + Hard Drive: At least 500MB of free space + Sound: sound card (standard on most computers) + Up-to-date antivirus software + Access to high-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or Satellite, please) + Dual monitors + A USB noise-cancelling headset + A webcam for your certification experience **Flexible Hours of Operation** As a Customer Support Representative, you'll enjoy flexible scheduling, where you use a self-scheduling platform to select when you work and when you don't, within the client's hours of operation.
