You'll work closely with our internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, leveraging your expertise in healthcare-related customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. **Key Responsibilities** * Respond to telephone and email inquiries from clients, providing accurate and timely resolutions to their concerns * Negotiate with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out of network providers * Assist clients with benefits and healthcare questions, demonstrating a strong understanding of healthcare-related topics * Document all calls received in our system-based call log, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records * Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction * Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management **Essential Qualifications** * High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of college or higher education preferred * 1 year of customer service or call center experience in a healthcare-related role * Medical intake or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) experience a plus * Bilingual English-Spanish a plus **Preferred Qualifications** * Strong knowledge of provider organizations and networks * Understanding of CMS Medicare reimbursement rates * Ability to effectively negotiate rate structures * Claim processing skills a plus * Insurance verification or pre-certification a plus * Provider office/facility billing department or financial area experience a plus * Strong analytical and research skills **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent customer relations, interpersonal, and communication skills * Strong appreciation and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information * Proficient with arenaflex applications and strong computer skills * Excellent data entry and typing skills * Ability to effectively negotiate rate structures * Strong attention to detail and analytical skills * Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers * Medical terminology knowledge a plus **Work Environment and Culture** As a remote customer service representative, you'll work in a typical office/home office environment, requiring prolonged sitting in front of a computer.
