This dynamic individual will process orders, determine vendor/hauler selection, maintain relationships with suppliers, and ensure the highest levels of service, satisfaction, and profitability. **Principal Duties and Responsibilities** As a Cement Dispatch & Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for: Dispatch * Process customer, driver, and hauler inquiries and orders using our dispatch system, ensuring timely and efficient order processing * Determine the best delivery methods and negotiate rates directly with vendors and customers, driving profitability and customer satisfaction * Solicit and schedule orders in a timely manner, maximizing efficiency and profitability * Schedule trucks to optimize routes and reduce costs, while ensuring timely delivery to customers * Manage hauler relationships, paperwork collection, and order processing, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless communication * Work closely with customers to adjust truck demand to meet proper delivery rates, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty * Determine callouts for the next day, ensuring a smooth and efficient dispatch process Global Responsibilities * Regular attendance and physical presence at work is an essential function of this position, requiring flexibility and adaptability * This role may require additional duties not listed above, and the employee may be asked to perform those duties to meet business needs, demonstrating a commitment to arenaflex's success **Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will need: Education/Specialized Knowledge/Professional Certifications * A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with a strong foundation in mathematics and communication * Extensive knowledge of the Chicagoland & NWI/WI area is essential, with a deep understanding of local transportation networks and logistics * Professional certifications in dispatch or customer service are a plus, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in the field Experience * A minimum of 2 years of dispatch experience is required, with a proven track record of success in customer service and operational management * Experience with Sales and Dispatch software is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of data entry, reporting, and analytics Skills/Abilities * Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish and Polish is preferred, with a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion * Ability to make quick decisions that meet established goals, even in high-pressure situations * Strong reading and map-reading skills, with a deep understanding of local geography and transportation networks * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with a wide variety of customers and stakeholders * Good computer skills, with a strong understanding of data entry, reporting, and analytics * Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and loyalty **Working Conditions** As a Cement Dispatch & Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will work in a professional office environment, with routine usage of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
