About The Role We’re hiring an Events Marketing Manager to lead the programs that connect GC AI with the in-house legal community. This role covers the full arenaflex: owned and sponsored, live and virtual, intimate dinners and large-scale conferences. You’ll own strategy, planning, logistics, execution, and measurement, ensuring every event ties directly to brand credibility and revenue outcomes. You will have a healthy budget yet be scrappy. The goal is to execute at the very highest level You’ll partner closely with Sales and Marketing to make events a core part of our demand engine and brand presence. Success is measured not just by smooth execution, but by the pipeline generated, the conversations advanced, and the lasting impression left with customers and prospects. What You’ll Do • Own an event from start to finish, including owned (GC dinners, roundtables, Summit) and sponsored (trade shows, partner activations, industry conferences). • Evaluate and prioritize events based on arenaflex accounts, ICP alignment, and revenue potential. • Balance brand presence, pipeline goals, and budget discipline. • Manage end-to-end logistics: venue sourcing, contract negotiation, A/V, catering, travel, shipping, and on-site staffing. • Run virtual and hybrid events: platform setup, technical rehearsals, speaker prep, attendee engagement, post-event recordings. • Ensure seamless attendee experience regardless of format. • Partner with Sales to drive pre-event prospecting, targeted invitations, and post-event follow-up. • Collaborate with Marketing colleagues to create collateral, agendas, speaker materials, and post-event content (recaps, highlight reels). • Track event performance, report insights, and recommend improvements. • Develop repeatable playbooks, vendor lists, budget templates, and run-of-show guides. • Implement scalable processes that improve efficiency and quality over time. What We’re Looking For • Experience: 6+ years in event management, ideally in B2B SaaS, legal, or AI/tech startup environments. • Formats: Proven track record running a mix of owned, sponsored, live, virtual, and hybrid events. • Execution: Strong project manager with ability to handle multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines. • Vendor & Budget Management: Skilled in negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and holding vendors accountable. • Flexibility: Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities can shift quickly. • Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required; this will likely be 2x/month.
