Job Description

Responsibilities:

As a valuable member of the Food & Beverage team, you will be responsible for the quick delivery of championship customer service throughout Scotiabank Arena and BMO Field from the food and beverage warehouse prior to and during events.

  • Transfer food and beverage products to various locations during games and events in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Retrieve all transfers, ensuring each item matches the transfer slips.

  • Stock items accurately in their respective location.

  • Identify and report low/out-of-stock items to the purchaser for re-ordering.

  • Ensure a clean and organized work area/equipment.

  • Work diligently to ensure the safety of self and others at all times.

  • Perform opening and closing duties as required .

  • Provide a friendly and informed response to any service-related issue/inquiry.

  • Adhere to all MLSE service standards and policies, including Health & Safety.

  • Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

  • Perform other administrative or service functions as the need arises.

Qualifications:

Note: Before reviewing the qualifications listed below, we want you to know that we understand you may not meet all the qualifications described and have other relevant expertise and experience .

  • Available to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as the need arises.

  • Must be able to bend, stretch, move in repetitive motion, etc.

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred.

  • Food Handler Certification is an asset (Basics, fst , Toronto Public Health, or equivalent).

  • Serve Safe certification is an asset.

  • Able to pay close attention to detail and process orders accurately.

  • Customer service experience is an asset.

  • Familiarity with the City of Toronto and tourist attractions is an asset.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
