Position Summary Contractor Remote Work you'll do The Services you will provide the Deloitte project team: Event Management supporting an enterprise technology client’s Cloud organization and end‑to‑end planning and delivery for in‑person, virtual, and hybrid priority programs in the United States. Reporting to the Events Lead, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of translating B2B business objectives into scoped event plans, working with cross‑functional teams and vendors through production, and reporting on performance and ROI. Experience managing tech industry events is highly desired. Roles And Responsibilities • Coordinate end‑to‑end planning and delivery for in‑person, virtual, and hybrid events. • Convert intake briefs into scoped plans with objectives, KPIs, budget, and timeline. • Conduct Cross‑functional planning and standups; maintain risk/issue log and RACI. • Work with Event Coordinators and Producers; look after run‑of‑show, rehearsals, and onsite execution. • Vendor sourcing, SOW/RFP, selection, PO/WO inputs, and performance tracking. • Facilitate registration, attendee communications, and experience; ensure accessibility and localization. • Partner with Event & Speaker Content Manager on agendas, speakers, talk tracks, and approvals. • Manage budget forecast, accruals, and reconciliation; track variance and savings. • Ensure lead capture plans and data quality; hand off to CRM and Sales for follow‑up. • Deliver post‑event reports with insights, ROI, and recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or similar focus. • 6–8 years experience in B2B event marketing/management with multi‑market delivery. • Proven vendor, budget, timeline, and stakeholder management. • Experience with registration and virtual event platforms. • Strong written and verbal communication across regions and teams. • Ability to travel and support live event hours as needed. Preferred • 8–10 years in B2B technology or enterprise events. • Experience with global tentpoles, partner, and third‑party events. • Knowledge of privacy, brand, and accessibility standards for events. • Proficiency with bolthires Workspace; Asana/Smartsheet; Cvent/Splash/Bizzabo; analytics (Looker/Tableau); CRM/MA (Salesforce/Marketo or similar). • CMP or project management certification (PMP/Prince2) preferred. The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $40 - $ 50 hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
