<strong>Summary<br><br></strong>The Apps team is in search of a high-energy and ambitious Engineering Project Manager. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for delivering new features for some of Apple’s most popular applications. We are looking for someone who takes ownership and is committed to shipping awesome products. Our team combines strong technical skills, product vision, and a love of all things project management to bring together the pieces needed to deliver an extraordinary user experience with Apple software products.<br><br><strong>Description<br><br></strong>The position requires an individual who gets into the details, has excellent organizational skills, understands software development, and has expertise working with Software Engineering, Design, QA, and cross-functionally with various organizations to manage and track deliverables.<br><br>Expect to be hands-on and engrossed in product details, while also being challenged to innovate on new features, strategize new processes, and build relationships to achieve results.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Coordinate with development teams and cross-functional teams on release tasks and ensure compliance with privacy, legal, and security. </li><li>Work with Software Engineering, Design, QA, and cross-functionally with various organizations to manage and track deliverables. </li><li>Schedule and facilitate meetings, including taking notes.</li><li>Be hands-on in product details and requirements, providing strategic guidance to teams building innovative new features.</li><li>Build relationships to achieve results.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>4+ years of Engineering Project Management expertise, delivering software and services through a full project lifecycle.</li><li>3+ years of working closely with Software Engineering, Design and QA to ship applications and/or frameworks and collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related subject area, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience.</li><li>Confident to take on technical challenges and work with various teams, building and managing relationships to navigate delivery dependencies.</li><li>Versatile problem solver equipped with a strong analytical approach to various challenges in complex environments. </li><li>Adept at creative and critical thinking with the ability to deconstruct problems, resolve conflicts, and lead the teams to solutions.</li><li>Self-starter with a strong sense of personal responsibility and a technical orientation.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the ability to filter and distill meaningful information to the right audience.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related subject area, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience.</li><li>Experience and knowledge of post-production video editing software and technology.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Pay & Benefits<br><br></strong>At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $134,800 and $245,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.<br><br>Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
