<strong>Location:</strong> This role can be worked primarily from home, Flexible in UK<br>
<strong>Contract:</strong> Fixed until 31st December 2027<br>
<strong>Hours:</strong> Full Time, 37.5 hours per week<br>
<strong>Salary:</strong> £30,075.00 - £32,108.00 Per Annum<br>

<p>The Employee Relations Team is a vital part of our HR department, supporting managers across the organisation with matters including conduct, capability, absence, redundancy and a wide range of other employee relations topics. We are now looking for an Employee Relations Assistant to support our Advisers while also developing your own skills and responsibilities.</p>

<p>This is an ideal role for someone currently working in HR administration or HR support, who is working towards (or already has) a professional HR qualification-ideally CIPD Level 5-and is keen to gain deeper ER experience.</p>

<p><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></p>

<p>In this position you will work closely with our experienced team of eight Employee Relations Advisers. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of ER activities, take part in case discussions, and gradually take ownership of less complex matters.</p>

<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p>

<p><em>Employee Relations Support</em></p>

<ul>
<li>Acting as the first point of contact for employee relations, policy and contractual queries.</li>
<li>Supporting and coaching managers through first stage queries and HR processes.</li>
<li>Attending ER meetings alongside advisers and contributing to case discussions.</li>
<li>Applying HR policies and procedures with accuracy and confidence.</li>
</ul>

<p><em>HR Operations</em></p>

<ul>
<li>Assisting advisers with case preparation and documentation.</li>
<li>Maintaining and updating employee records.</li>
<li>Providing advice on terms and conditions of employment.</li>
</ul>

<p><em>Project Work</em></p>

<ul>
<li>Contributing to HR and operational projects as required, including policy development and process improvement.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>What you’ll bring</strong></p>

<p>We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, confident in supporting others, and keen to build a solid foundation in employee relations.</p>

<p><em>Essential skills & experience:</em></p>

<ul>
<li>Experience in an HR Administrator, HR Assistant or HR Coordinator role.</li>
<li>Confidence in advising managers on HR procedures and basic ER issues.</li>
<li>Strong organisation and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li>
<li>Competent user of MS Office and HR systems.</li>
<li>CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent) and ideally working towards Level 5.</li>
<li>A basic understanding of employment law principles and developments.</li>
</ul>
