Hennepin County’s Elections department is seeking to fill several temporary Elections Assistant positions to administer in-person absentee/early voting through the 2026 General Election. These positions will be a part of the support staff group that will assist with absentee/early voting and will consist of a mix of data entry, customer service, and other clerical duties as assigned to support program areas throughout the Elections department. Elections Assistants must perform duties in a non-partisan manner and be able to provide excellent customer service, use technical and analytical skills, and perform a variety of clerical and administrative functions.<br><br>The Elections department is looking for individuals who are interested in election administration, government processes, and interaction with residents.<br><br>Candidates bilingual in English and Somali, Spanish, Oromo, Hmong, American, or Universal Sign Language are encouraged to apply.
