This intern will work closely with the Disneyland Attractions Operational Technology (AOT) Cybersecurity and Attraction System Support teams to participate in supporting the systems that are critical to the attraction's operation. This support includes, but is not limited to, deploying hardware, operating system patching, creating dashboards, testing and documentation.

This intern will also work closely with ride and show control engineers to ensure attraction performance and reliability around PC-based Control systems. If selected for this role, you will work with the Manager of Cybersecurity Engineering. The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 to January 2027. This is a full-time position, and interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship in Anaheim, CA

What You Will Do

  • Work with Cyber Security personnel to generate necessary documentation around attraction security; specifically, network diagrams, Theory of Operations and wiring diagrams

  • Installation, configuration, testing and patching of Operating Systems on PC-based ride and show control systems

  • Support troubleshooting of PC-based software, both back-of-house and in the field

  • Support component-level troubleshooting of PC hardware, both back-of-house and in the field

  • Provide timely, clear, concise communication to management, team members, and other stakeholders about project status

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Hands on experience with Windows vulnerability patching and tuning tools

  • Strong understanding of software, computer architecture and Windows operating systems

  • Familiarity with Cyber Security principles, firewalls, and security management

  • Familiarity with virtualization tools such as VMWARE and endpoint protection tools

  • Familiarity with Cloud-based concepts and collaboration technologies such as SharePoint

  • General PC repair knowledge including diagnosing failed PC components, installing software and hardware

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office skills (esp. Word, Excel, Visio)

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions

  • Be a team player with strong written and verbal communications skills

Required Education

Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher attending an accredited college/university earning a degree majoring in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Cyber Security.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

  • The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through January 2027

  • Provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Anaheim, CA area*

  • Provide/have reliable transportation to/from work*


Job Posting Statement The pay rate for this role in Anaheim, CA is $38 per hour.
