Position Summary:
The Director of Supply Chain will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, including optimizing the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, relationship management with offshore contract manufacturers & 3pls, new product introduction (NPI), logistics management of inbound and outbound shipments, and management of our Nashville based reverse logistics facility. This role will define strategic vision and drive continual improvement in our rapidly growing supply chain.

This is a Remote/Work from Home position reporting to the Vice President of Implementation.

What you will do:
  • Oversee the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to support 20% annual growth, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels, production schedules, and customer demand forecasting.
  • Nurture relationships with existing CMs and suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact, and driving quality and cost initiatives.
  • Lead the supply chain and logistics team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as business owner of the ERP system during a critical transformation to NetSuite, making key architecture design decisions and overseeing implementation of changes.
  • Lead the NPI process with offshore contract manufacturers (CMs) and suppliers, ensuring successful introduction of new products to market.
  • Manage all aspects of supplier and CM selection and onboarding.
  • Continuously analyze the supply chain network to identify opportunities for quality and efficiency improvements as well as cost savings.
  • Proactively assess supply chain risks and developing practical mitigation strategies.
  • Creating and maintaining metrics to drive department performance and quality in production.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business or related field.
  • 10 years in international supply chain management, with a focus on contract manufacturing, supplier management, and S&OP processes.
  • 5 years of leadership/management experience.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with contract manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical, planning and budgeting skills. Entrepreneurial, strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
  • Experience in telephony, consumer electronics or IoT is a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel domestically and internationally. See “Remote with Travel” below.
  • Proficient in MS Office & modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams)
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:

  • May lift or move boxes (up to 50 pounds with assistance) when in the warehouse
Remote with Travel: Work environment is primarily work at home indoors or at warehouse, customer or vendor site, or other business meeting venue; exposure to all types of weather and temperature conditions during travel, and exposure to hazardous driving and traffic conditions. Domestic travel to Nashville, TN (approx. up to 10%), may include overnight and out-of-state travel, and international travel (approx. up to 5%) to visit key supply chain partners.

Compensation:
$152,000 to $185,000 plus 15% bonus determined by competitive market analysis and internal equity considerations.
