JOB DESCRIPTION: AXM is seeking a data scientist on a contract basis to support the continued development and delivery of Agile Mix Modeling™ (AMM), our machine-learning powered solution for real-time, cross-channel media measurement, forecasting, and optimization. This role is highly execution-oriented. The contractor will be responsible for building, running, validating, and iterating on AMM models in support of active client engagements, working closely with AXM’s Analytics, Data Science, and Media teams. REPORTS TO: SVP OF ANALYTICS AND DATA SCIENCE DURATION: 2/23/26-6/30/26 (12 weeks) 40 hours/weekly with potential to become permanent. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Construct and run models as needed for client reporting deliverables • Communicate complex statistical information to agency client teams, and help construct narratives for client reporting deliverables • Continue development of AMM product by improving Bayesian models and utilizing statistical and machinelearning approaches to optimize attribution output and streamline the creation of valid models • Help maintain a custom code base, container images, and cloud infrastructure. • Work in an AWS cloud environment managed • Be highly organized and able to work independently. • Provide guidance and mentorship to data science team members • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment: working under pressure while prioritizing workload. REQUIREMENTS • 8+ years of experience in a data scientist role, including experience in advertising analytics • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. • Proven expertise in coding with Python, with a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming. • Experience with Bayesian Modelling, ideally using PyMC and pymc-marketing, with the ability to effectively communicate results • Experience with the following is required: Ray, Podman (or Docker), Terraform, Git • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch • Proficiency in SQL, Pandas, and general ETL practices required • Knowledge of econometrics and statistical modeling techniques • Ability to thrive in a remote work environment, demonstrating strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills. • Experience in advertising analytics, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), and experimentation required • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Outstanding collaboration skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally in order to establish and meet shared organizational goals • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills • Must live in the United States and be willing to work PST hours. • **WE ARE AN AT-WILL, EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER*** Apply tot his job
