Overview:
The CFO leads the company’s financial strategy, planning, and performance within the fashion retail industry. The role oversees budgeting, forecasting, treasury, financial reporting, compliance, and cash-flow management while supporting strategic decision-making, profitability, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the company’s financial strategy and planning
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Supervise treasury activities and cash-flow management
  • Review financial reporting and performance
  • Support strategic decision-making with financial insights
  • Handle owner’s investments including financial evaluation, monitoring, reporting, and asset protection.
  • Lead and support company mergers & acquisitions activities, including financial due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and post-acquisition financial integration.
  • Oversee corporate tax, VAT, and financial compliance
  • Ensure preparation and completion of annual audited financial statements
  • Improve margins and financial performance across retail operations
  • Partnering merchandising and retail teams through financial analysis
  • Establish financial controls and governance standards
  • Partner with leadership to align financial and business strategies

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business

· CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years as CFO or senior finance executive in fashion retail
  • 20+ years progressive finance leadership experience
  • Background in retail financial planning, inventory finance, and multi-store operations

· Proven experience partnering with merchandising, buying, supply chain, and omnichannel retail functions to support financial planning and business performance.

· Proven track record in profitability improvement and financial transformation

· Experience with ERP systems and retail/e-commerce financial operations

Skills:

· Strong financial and commercial acumen

· Strategic thinking and leadership capability

· Advanced financial modelling and forecasting

· Deep understanding of retail KPIs

· Knowledge of e-commerce business models and consumer trends

· Risk management, compliance, and governance expertise
