Position Overview:
XCEL Home Health is seeking Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for an exciting Travel or Local job in the locations identified below.The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic nursing care and assistance with daily living activities under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse (RN or LPN). The CNA supports the physical comfort, safety, and well-being of clients in their homes or care settings.

Location(s): CATHARPIN; PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY; VA

Reporting Relationship

  • Reports to the supervising RN/LPN and Agency Manager/Administrator.
Qualifications/Prerequisites

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state.
  • Successful completion of state-approved CNA training and competency evaluation.
  • Must pass background check and drug screen.
  • Physical and mental ability to perform assigned duties.
Responsibilities/Activities

  • Assist clients with personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing).
  • Provide support with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
  • Take and record vital signs as directed.
  • Observe and report changes in client conditions to the nurse.
  • Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration.
  • Perform light housekeeping related to client care.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect client rights.
  • Participate in required in-service education.
