About the job

As a Café Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the café, including but not limited to guest service excellence, quality control, scheduling, inventory management, and training with support from Change of Tone. You’ll be in an energetic retail space with our parent company Stratis Insurance Agency.

What will your day look like?

· Daily operations and service standards; open/close checklists and cleaning compliance.

· Staff scheduling (1-2 Baristas), hiring, onboarding, and coaching.

· Inventory/ordering (coffee, milks, disposables) and waste control.

· POS/menu updates; cash handling and basic reporting.

· Quality control: dial-in checks, taste calibration, milk texture, iced workflow.

· Health & safety, incident logs, and vendor coordination.

Who are we looking for?

· 2+ years’ experience in a leadership capacity in a coffee shop/café setting.

· Energetic and vibrant personality that can deliver memorable guest experiences.

· Comfortable with super-automatic systems and basic maintenance.

· Advanced interpersonal skills, reliable, organized, and calm under pressure.

· Completion of FoodSafe is required upon starting the role.

· Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for extended periods of time.

Compensation

This position pays between $25.00 – $28.00 per hour + tips. Your hourly rate will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience while considering internal equity.
