Summary We have a current opportunity for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst (Decision Support, Lead) --will consider all Sr. Levels. In this role you will be contribute to the successful data management and reporting on project, financial, and operational data. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of project metrics, streamlining data processes, and provide valuable insights through dashboards and tools. This is a fully remote position. Responsibilities • Serve as the primary report and dashboard developer for functional areas including Project Management, Accounting, Contracts, and Operations. • Collaborate with teams to design and maintain reports using tools such as Power BI and Cognos. • Manage weekly and monthly status update processes for project reporting. Responsible for the overall data integrity of these reporting processes. • Select, train, document, and support the implementation of project reporting processes and applications. • Write and implement macros in Office applications or introduce new tools to streamline validation and data aggregation processes. • Work with large data sets, automate data extraction, and build scalable infrastructure for reporting from multiple data sources including ERP. • Support BI solutions such as monitoring data quality and refreshes, maintain reports, investigating and fixing bugs, partnering with IT on BI platform stability and conducting end-user training. Ideal Experience • Bachelor’s degree in in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science, will consider equivalent job experience in lieu of degree. • Minimum 5 years or more years of experience in a related role. • Proven experience with SQL and data aggregation methods. • Experience working with ERP applications. • Experienced in Excel, including creating and using macros. • Experience designing complex reports and dashboards in Business Intelligence tools like Power BI and Cognos. • Some limited travel may be required to meet with stakeholders. • Ability to obtain a DOD security clearance. Desired Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills including the ability to work with stakeholders to develop requirements. • Previous work experience with Deltek Costpoint and other Deltek applications. • Understanding of business operations in a government contracting organization. • Experience in program management or directly supporting program management teams. • Comfortable programming in additional languages including Python, Java, C#, etc. • Familiarity with automating data flows and validations. • Exposure to Data Warehouse and Data Lake technologies.
