Summary of Position Responsibility: The individual will be responsible for developing new business, driving product specifications into next-Generation data center architectures, and growing revenue through strategic engagement with key ecosystem partners. Grow market by leveraging Velcro Companies broad portfolio of hook and loop solutions to gain new specifications and applications. Position requires a strong technical background in data centers and the commercial aptitude to drive growth with hyperscalers such as Google, AWS and Meta, as well as with integrators and distributors. Incumbent should reside in Dallas, Phoenix, Atlanta, or Northern Virginia area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Drive specification of our products into hyperscaler data center projects and large enterprise deployments. Identify, qualify, and win new business opportunities with hyperscalers, integrators, OEMs, and distributors. Develop account plans and growth strategies aligned to corporate revenue and margin objectives. Leverage technical background to consult with engineers, architects, and procurement teams. Act as a subject matter expert in data center infrastructure applications. Support customer evaluations, demonstrations, and design discussions. Negotiate commercial terms with customers and partners. Collaborate with marketing and project management. Contribute to forecasts and annual sales projections for existing and new products and key clients. Responsibilities include building partnering relationships, maintaining frequent contact with customers, optimizing and leading technical specifications throughout the Velcro Companies portfolio, leading collaborative efforts cross-functionally, conducting technical presentations, and providing feedback to management. Work actively with CRM to grow and maintain an opportunity pipeline, quotations, customer contracts, and relevant customer and project information. Support additional technical business development applications as assigned. Knowledge & Experience (Minimum Job Qualifications): Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field. Minimum of 5 years in business development technical sales, or product specification in data centers, networking, or infrastructure markets. Proven success working with hyperscalers and system integrators. Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles. Strong technical knowledge of data center systems. Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills. A proven track record of success, and adaptability in a consultative approach. Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgement, and the ability to effectively influence decision making. Entrepreneurial and self-driven. Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
