<p><h2> Bus Operator Commuter Metro </h2><p> Job Category: Transportation </p><p> Requisition Number: BUSOP003959</p><p> Full-Time </p><p> Rate: $28.55 USD per hour </p><p> Location: Leesburg, VA 20175, USA </p><h2> Job Details </h2><h3> Description </h3><p> Core Competencies / Responsibilities: </p><ul><li> Perform vehicle Pre-Trip Inspection </li><li> Operate 45 ft Over the Road Motor Coach </li><li> Complete Pre-Trip Inspection Report and deposit copy </li><li> Report any corrections to Dispatch and or Maintenance Supervisor </li><li> Operate his/her vehicle in a safe and courteous manner at all times </li><li> Observe and obey all posted speed limits and traffic laws </li><li> Maintain a current Commercial Driver's License current, DOT Card </li><li> Report any changes in their driving record immediately upon change </li><li> Document all times, passenger counts, incidents, or any other information requested </li><li> Assist with ADA passengers to ensure safe transport </li><li> Will follow all safety requirements as instructed by safety manager </li><li> Other duties as required </li></ul><p> Knowledge and Experience: </p><ul><li> Must be at least 21 years of age </li><li> Verifiable CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a Passenger Endorsement </li><li>5 years of driving experience preferred; 3 years required which must be verifiable through DMV </li><li> Strong knowledge of the service area (Multi County area including DC) is preferred </li><li> Professionally groomed and uniformed at all time </li><li> Must be able to pass a criminal background check </li><li> Must have a clean verifiable driver record (no more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years)</li><li> Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and DOT physical </li><li> Customer Service Experience is required </li><li> High degree of comfort working with people with disabilities. </li><li> Possess excellent communication (written and verbal) and decision making skills </li><li> Must be able and willing to work Monday - Friday split shift schedule </li><li> Must be flexible and willing to work Monday - Saturday </li></ul><p> Please note: Job duties or specific job title could vary; where covered by a collective bargaining agreement the provisions of that agreement may prevail. </p><p> Drug and alcohol screening: Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.
