Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconciliations
  • Support the month end close and reporting processes
  • Troubleshoot bookkeeping work, find errors and correct them
  • Onboarding new clients to get their books caught up
  • Recognize when something doesn’t look right and analytical skills to find/correct the issue
  • Meetings with some of your clients
  • Researching, being resourceful, asking questions of your colleagues and manager
  • Contribute to process improvement by giving feedback and collaborating with tax and accounting teams

Requirements:
  • MUST: Experience in a public tax/accounting firm
  • Expert level QBO skills
  • Self-motivated, fast learner, good work ethic, detail and deadline-oriented
  • Love helping people, thinking outside the box, going the extra mile
  • Client-facing experience, comfortable managing your own clients

Pay: From $23 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week, then overtime pay.
