Our office is located near Lakeshore / Carlaw, with a flexible approach to hybrid work depending on the requirements of your role. Primary Responsibilities


  • Inspect, repair and service our fleet of bikes
  • Make request for additional parts/ supplies
  • Assembling/ disassembling different types of bicycles
  • Wheel building, wheel truing, tire changing Maintain KPIs for the Bike Shop
  • Oversee and coach employees
  • Submit performance and progress reports
  • Fluent with Inventory and Materials Management concepts, such as inventory control and analysis, material lead times, usage analysis
  • Develops and implements standard work procedures to continually improve overall team productivity
  • Responsible for safe work practices
  • Be able to make decisions based on knowledge and experience
  • Crank arm replacement, changing derailleurs, headset overhaul, chain check and replacement
  • Changing brakes, brakes and shift levers, cables
  • Deliver exceptional support to your team to achieve performance targets
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Must complete all internal training requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace, following standard operating procedures
  • Respond to directives from the management team
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift upto 75 pounds
  • Must have the ability to bend, crawl, stoop and stand for long periods of time
  • Must be willing to work in all weather conditions year-round
  • Must be available to work a varied schedule of days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays
  • Must have great human relations skills, written and verbal communication skills, decision making and organizational skills
  • Advanced knowledge and of parts and maintenance procedures
  • Must be comfortable riding a bike in an urban environment
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Certification from a recognized trade school or equivalent experience is a plus.
