Job Summary

The position involves tiny work, cutting, folding paper and glueing books. Most books are under 1” high. I supply all the book parts, glues and book board. You would pick up your supplies twice a week here in Marshallville and bringing back finished books at that time. You MUST be willing to travel to Marshallville twice a week. (Only Holidays are exceptions)

Responsibilities and Duties

This is a part time long term position. We would meet 2 days a week at which time you deliver completed books to me and I give you more books to complete. I meet on Monday and Thursday afternoons between 2pm and 4:00pm here in Marshallville. This meeting usually takes 5-10 minutes. I schedule meetings every 15 minutes. You MUST be willing to travel to Marshallville twice a week. This is a permanent long term position, with piece-work compensation. Great working opportunity for stay at home parents!

Required skills/abilities:

  • Must be able to cut a straight line. Most books are under 1” high.

  • Have a low humidity, bright, odor free area for work at home
  • Ability to replicate existing construction process
  • Must be self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision.
  • Have reliable transportation

You would be a subcontractor. Which means you would get a 1099 for earnings over $600.

Pay is Piece Rate: Each book you make CORRECTLY you receive $1.15 or more up to $3.00 per book.

It keeps all my bookkeeping straight. I would also pay you the day you drop off completed books. (Benefit: Most employers pay every other week)
