Job Title: Ambulance Driver

Location: Noida
Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time
Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Ambulance Driver to join our emergency medical team. The driver will be responsible for operating ambulances safely and efficiently, ensuring timely response to calls, and assisting medical staff in patient transport. This role requires presence of mind, strong driving skills, and compassion while dealing with patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate ambulance vehicles to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls.
  • Ensure quick and safe transport of patients to hospitals or healthcare facilities.
  • Maintain ambulance cleanliness, fuel levels, and readiness for emergency calls.
  • Assist paramedical staff and EMTs in loading/unloading and transferring patients.
  • Follow traffic laws and prioritize patient and staff safety during transport.
  • Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Report any mechanical issues or breakdowns immediately for timely repairs.
  • Adhere to emergency driving protocols, safety standards, and infection control measures.
  • Provide compassionate support and reassurance to patients and attendants during transit.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid Heavy/Light Motor Vehicle (HMV/LMV) Driving License.
  • Minimum (X years) of professional driving experience (ambulance/hospital driving preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of first aid and patient handling (training will be provided if needed).
  • Strong knowledge of local routes and ability to drive under pressure in emergencies.
  • Physically fit to assist in moving patients and handling stretchers.
  • Good communication skills and ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
