<p><b>Amazon Delivery Station Associate</b></p><p><b>Job Overview</b></p><p>Join the dedicated Amazon team at the delivery station—the final stop before delivering smiles to our valued customers. In this dynamic, fast-paced role, you will be pivotal in receiving trucks full of orders and preparing them for delivery. You'll load conveyor belts and transport and stage deliveries for our drivers.</p><p><b>Duties & Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Your responsibilities may include:</b></p><ol><li><p>Receiving and preparing inventory for delivery.</p></li><li><p>Utilizing technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans.</p></li><li><p>Building, wrapping, sorting, and transporting pallets and packages.</p></li><li><p>Receiving truck deliveries of customer packages.</p></li></ol><p><b>In addition, you must be able to:</b></p><ol><li><p>Lift up to 49 pounds.</p></li><li><p>View prompts on screens and follow directions for some tasks.</p></li><li><p>Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.</p></li><li><p>Utilize carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items efficiently.</p></li><li><p>Ascend and descend stairs (when applicable).</p></li><li><p>Work at heights up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (when applicable).</p></li><li><p>Adapt to an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles.</p></li></ol><p><b>What You Can Expect at an Amazon Delivery Station</b></p><ol><li><p><b>Surroundings:</b> Work alongside moving machinery such as order pickers, stand-up forklifts, turret trucks, and mobile carts.</p></li><li><p><b>Activity:</b> Expect a mix of standing in one place for extended periods, walking, and climbing stairs.</p></li><li><p><b>Training:</b> You will undergo a structured on-the-job training schedule.
