Amazon Delivery Station AssociateJob OverviewJoin the dedicated Amazon team at the delivery station—the final stop before delivering smiles to our valued customers. In this dynamic, fast-paced role, you will be pivotal in receiving trucks full of orders and preparing them for delivery. You'll load conveyor belts and transport and stage deliveries for our drivers.Duties & ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities may include:<ol><li>Receiving and preparing inventory for delivery.</li><li>Utilizing technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans.</li><li>Building, wrapping, sorting, and transporting pallets and packages.</li><li>Receiving truck deliveries of customer packages.</li></ol>In addition, you must be able to:<ol><li>Lift up to 49 pounds.</li><li>View prompts on screens and follow directions for some tasks.</li><li>Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.</li><li>Utilize carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items efficiently.</li><li>Ascend and descend stairs (when applicable).</li><li>Work at heights up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (when applicable).</li><li>Adapt to an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles.</li></ol>What You Can Expect at an Amazon Delivery Station<ol><li>Surroundings: Work alongside moving machinery such as order pickers, stand-up forklifts, turret trucks, and mobile carts.</li><li>Activity: Expect a mix of standing in one place for extended periods, walking, and climbing stairs.</li><li>Training: You will undergo a structured on-the-job training schedule.
