Aesthetic Injector (NP or PA)

Location: Silver Spring, MD

Compensation: $50+/hr plus performance-based bonus

Part-time preferred, with potential for full-time

Position Overview

The Aesthetic Injector at Sha’s Organic Skincare and MedSpa serves as the clinical leader responsible for providing safe, evidence-based aesthetic and wellness treatments while supporting the spa’s holistic, results-driven philosophy. This role combines advanced clinical expertise with patient education, compliance oversight, and collaboration with the medspa team to deliver high-quality, ethical care.

The Aesthetic Injector performs medical services in accordance with state regulations, clinical best practices, and the standards of Sha’s Organic Skincare and MedSpa.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Aesthetic Services

Perform advanced aesthetic and wellness procedures within the scope of practice: Advanced injectables (neuromodulators, dermal fillers, biostimulators), PRP, microneedling, and other services as applicable. Experience with IV therapy is a plus.

Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, assessments, and medical histories.

Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals, safety, and clinical indications.

Educate patients on procedures, risks, benefits, post-care instructions, and expected outcomes.

Monitor patient progress and manage follow-up care.

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient medical records.

Medical Oversight & Compliance

Ensure all clinical services comply with Maryland state laws, board regulations, and scope-of-practice requirements.

Follow state, and county guidelines related to medication storage, handling, and administration.

Maintain proper documentation for medical treatments, consents, and protocols.

Participate in quality assurance, risk management, and safety reviews.

Support compliance training for staff as it relates to medical treatments.

Collaboration & Team Support

Work collaboratively with estheticians, body contouring specialists, massage therapists, and management.

Provide clinical guidance and education to non-medical staff within allowable scope.

Support onboarding and clinical training initiatives as needed.

Communicate clearly with the MedSpa Manager regarding patient care, safety, and workflow.

Client Experience & Ethics

Deliver patient-centered care with professionalism, empathy, and integrity.

Ensure patients feel informed, respected, and supported throughout their care journey.

Uphold ethical standards in treatment recommendations and service delivery.

Support long-term patient relationships through education and trust, not pressure.

Professional Development & Leadership

Stay current with advancements in aesthetic medicine, wellness therapies, and clinical best practices.

Maintain required licensure, certifications, and continuing education.

Attend and participate in meetings, training, and clinical reviews.

Represent Sha’s Organic Skincare and MedSpa with professionalism in all settings.

Qualifications & Requirements

Active Maryland Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License in good standing.

Minimum 1-2 years of experience performing cosmetic injectable treatments. Experience with other aesthetics and wellness treatments is a plus.

Must be skilled in establishing IV lines.

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment.

Excellent communication and patient education skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

High attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Physical & Professional Requirements

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
