Job Title- AEM Architect

Location Fremont, CA- Remote within USA

Contract 1+ year

Visa US-Citizen or Green card/TN-visa/ E3-visa

Mandatory Skills AEM, Splunk, PowerShell, or Python, ServiceNow, Jira, Logs Monitoring, Confluence and SharePoint

10+ years of experience in AEM
5+ years in AEM solutioning/ solutioning.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Requirements:
experience in AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), including cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, dispatcher configuration, and environment management.
understanding of AEM 6.x and AEM Cloud Architecture, along with hands-on experience in migration, upgrades, and adopting the latest AEM features.
Proficiency in AEM Sites, Assets, Workflows, Sling Models, HTL, OSGi, and JCR/Oak repository.
Experience designing scalable content architectures, templates, components, content fragment models, workflows, and headless APIs.
Adept in integrating AEM with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, CRM systems, commerce platforms, and REST/GraphQL APIs.
Azure AI search integration is advantage.
DevOps tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, Cloud Manager, Docker, Kubernetes (optional).
knowledge of caching strategies, dispatcher rules, CDN optimization, and performance tuning.
understanding of AEM security, ACL governance, secure coding practices, and identity management.

Responsibilities:
Lead technical discovery to assess scope, infrastructure, integrations touchpoints, licensing considerations, and existing CMS implementation landscape.
Present architectural/ technical solutions, risks, and recommendations to business and technology leadership in a clear, business friendly manner.
Define end to end content migration strategy, automation approach, mapping rules, content governance, and validation processes for a seamless transition to the new AEM platform.
Define and finalize the target architecture covering component frameworks, reusable foundational component libraries, MSM (Multi Site Manager) strategy, cloud manager pipelines, and DevOps architecture.
Provide architectural guidance on AEMaaCS, component architecture , editable templates, OSGi service design, client libraries, backend integrations and cloud-native development patterns.
Create both high level and low level architecture designs including integration diagrams, infrastructure topology, and detailed solution design documentation.

Good to Have:
Adobe AEM Architect /Developer
Experience with multi tenant architectures and global rollouts.
Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) integrated with AEM SPA Editor.
Familiarity with Headless CMS approaches using AEM Content Fragment Models and APIs.
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
