<strong>Description Of Job<br><br></strong>Edgewood University is seeking part-time Adjunct Clinical Instructors for our Online Accelerated Nursing Program. We are looking for individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:<br><br><ul><li>Medical-Surgical Nursing</li><li>Maternal-Child Health</li><li>Psychosocial/Behavioral Health</li><li>Public Health</li><li>Adult Health</li><li>Perinatal & Pediatric Nursing</li><li>Pharmacology</li><li>Leadership & Healthcare Organizations</li><li>Evidence-Based Practice<br><br></li></ul><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong>Adjunct Clinical Instructors are nursing professionals with the responsibility of providing a quality learning experience for Edgewood University students with hospitals and clinical sites. The relationship of the adjunct faculty member to the student is one of teacher and facilitator of learning. Each adjunct is hired to guide students and facilitate learning in the clinical setting.<br><br><ul><li>Supervise a group of 7 Edgewood ABSN students onsite in the clinical setting</li><li>Clinical hours are typically 8-10 hours per day</li><li>Create a supportive learning environment conducive to attainment of clinical objectives</li><li>Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and ethics in the clinical setting</li><li>Promote evidence-based practice</li><li>Evaluate students’ written work as assigned</li><li>Hold minimum of 1 virtual office hour each week</li><li>Collaborate with faculty and program leadership to ensure course objectives are met.</li><li>Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student development.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Job Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Necessary Education or Work Experience:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or current enrollment in an MSN program.</li><li>Unencumbered Wisconsin RN license (or eligibility for licensure).</li><li>At least two years of full-time (or equivalent) direct patient care experience.</li><li>Willingness to obtain additional RN licensure in approved states where the program operates.
